ChoicerVoicer.games is an independent fan-made companion site. This Privacy Policy explains how the site may process information when you visit our pages or use the embedded browser mini-game.

Information we process

We do not offer user accounts, comments, file uploads or payment on this site. Our hosting and security providers may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, requested URL, timestamps and security signals to deliver and protect the site.

Analytics

We use a self-hosted Plausible Analytics service delivered from bxch.org for aggregate page-view, outbound-link and tagged-event measurement. It is configured for choicervoicer.games and is intended to measure traffic trends without setting Plausible cookies. The self-hosted service receives the network information required to process an analytics request, and its retention is controlled by the site operator.

We also use Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-8CMXEDL6SX. Its default web measurement can collect page views, session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information, and a client identifier stored in a first-party _ga cookie unless analytics storage is disabled. Google processes this information under its own terms and privacy controls. We use these measurements to understand site use, diagnose problems and improve content.

Embedded browser game

The browser mini-game is delivered through third-party frames operated outside ChoicerVoicer.games. The supplied frame currently loads content from thechoicervoicergames.com and gga.dev. Those services receive network information needed to load the frame and may use their own cookies, local storage, analytics or similar technologies.

The embedded game may ask for microphone permission. ChoicerVoicer.games does not intentionally receive or store your microphone recording in its own application. The microphone interaction occurs inside the third-party frame, and the third party's code and policies control how that interaction works. Do not grant microphone access if you are uncomfortable with that third-party processing. You can revoke microphone permission in your browser settings.

Advertising and privacy choices

Advertising is not required to use the site. If advertising is enabled, we will update this policy to identify the provider and explain the use of cookies, identifiers, personalized or non-personalized advertising and opt-out choices. Where applicable, the site will provide a Privacy Choices or Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link.

How we use information

We may use technical information to deliver pages, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, measure aggregate performance and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell the full game, process game payments or intentionally build profiles from microphone recordings.

Sharing

Information may be processed by Cloudflare for hosting and security, by our self-hosted Plausible service at bxch.org, by Google Analytics, and by embedded-content providers as described above. Advertising providers will be added here before advertising is activated. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or during a legitimate business transfer. We do not claim control over the independent privacy practices of the embedded game or external links.

Retention

Retention periods depend on the Cloudflare, self-hosted Plausible and Google Analytics settings in use. We keep site-controlled information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here and update this policy when providers or retention settings materially change.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children under 13 to provide personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a site-controlled feature, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Third-party frames have separate practices, and a parent or guardian should review them before allowing microphone access.

Your choices

You may block or delete cookies through your browser, use browser or network controls to block analytics requests, use Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on where available, revoke microphone permission, decline to use the embedded game, and follow external providers' privacy instructions. Blocking technologies may affect analytics or game functionality.

Links to itch.io and other external sites take you away from ChoicerVoicer.games. Their privacy policies apply to their services.

Changes

We may update this policy when providers or site features change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
